How to go live on TikTok with OBS and a live scoreboard

Facts checked 22 October 2026

TikTok gives a stream key only to some accounts, usually 18+ with around 1,000 followers. If you have one, get the server URL and key from TikTok LIVE Center, set OBS to a portrait 1080 × 1920 canvas, add the Dawrify overlay, and paste the key under Settings → Stream → Custom.

1. Check you can get a stream key

Open TikTok LIVE Center on a computer and look for the stream key option. If you don't see it, your account can't stream from OBS yet. TikTok decides this, not the streaming app. In that case, stream the match to YouTube or Facebook and post the goals to TikTok as clips.

2. Build a portrait scene

  1. 1Make a new OBS profile called "TikTok".Profile → New. In Settings → Video, set both resolutions to 1080x1920. A separate profile keeps your landscape YouTube setup as it is.
  2. 2Frame the camera for portrait.Film from the middle of the pitch, as high as you can. Crop the camera source to the centre of the action. A portrait frame shows less of the pitch, so zoom out.
  3. 3Add the overlay with Width 1080 and Height 1920.On the overlay's setup page, choose a top corner and a larger size. TikTok draws its buttons and comments over the bottom third and the right side of the screen. Under Stoppages, choose Bug for Before kick-off, Half-time and Full-time: the full-screen scenes are built for landscape.
Adding the overlay in OBSThe Browser Source settings, step by step.

3. Go live

  1. 1Settings → Stream → Service: Custom.Paste the Server URL and Stream Key from LIVE Center. TikTok usually gives you a new key every time you go live, so paste it again before each match.
  2. 2Click Start Streaming in OBS, then go live in LIVE Center.Check the preview on your phone's TikTok app to see what viewers see.
