Corporate football tournaments
Facts checked 23 October 2026
Dawrify runs a corporate football tournament, between departments or between companies, from one phone. Pick a format, add the teams and the fixtures are built for you. On the night, the score is on the office TV, the posters are in the company chat and every team has its own page. Your first tournament is free, up to 8 teams of 7 players.
1. The shapes a company cup takes
- One-evening cup
- Groups of three or four, then a knockout to a final, all on one five-a-side pitch booking.
- Inter-department league
- Every department plays every other, one match a week across a quarter. The table decides it.
- Inter-company league
- Several companies, home and away or on neutral pitches, with a table everyone can check.
- Groups and a finals day
- Group matches spread over weeks, then the knockout on one day with the whole office watching.
Five-, seven- and eleven-a-side each come with their own defaults: match length, squad size and rolling substitutions for small-sided games. You can change any of them.
2. Match day, run by one person
- 1Score from the touchlineTap the scorer in the match console on a phone. The table, the top scorers and the next round follow on their own.
- 2Hand out matchesA colleague can be an assistant for one match and score it from their own phone.
- 3Put the score on a screenOpen the venue scoreboard on the office TV or a screen at the pitch. A goal takes over the whole screen.
- 4Stream the finalAdd the overlay to OBS or PRISM and the score and clock sit on your stream for colleagues watching from home.
3. Something the whole office follows
Team building only works if people outside the pitch care about the result. Dawrify gives them something to look at.
- Goal, full-time and standings posters in your colours, ready for the company chat or LinkedIn.
- A public page for the tournament, every match and every team, with live scores in any browser.
- A vote for the player of the match.
- Cards earned in real games: a hat-trick, a top scorer, a debut. Each one has its own page and serial number.
4. Entry fees and receipts
If teams pay to enter an inter-company league, record each payment in the dashboard and Dawrify prints a PDF receipt for the team. The money itself is paid to you directly; there is no online payment.
5. What it costs
Your first tournament is free, up to 8 teams of 7 players, which fits most department cups. Bigger tournaments and companies that run competitions all year use paid plans priced by teams and players. To upgrade, message us on WhatsApp; you pay by bank transfer or in cash.

- Corporate games with many sports at once. Dawrify is football only.
- Signing in with your company's single sign-on, or syncing with HR software. Neither exists.
- A fantasy football league. Dawrify runs real matches that people play.
7. Where to start
Questions
- How do I organise a corporate football tournament?
- Decide how many teams and how much time you have. One evening suits groups and a knockout on a five-a-side pitch; a league across a quarter suits one match a week. On Dawrify you add the departments or companies as teams, choose that format and the fixtures are built. On the night, one person scores each match from a phone.
- Can we show the live score in the office?
- Yes. The venue scoreboard opens in any browser, so any TV or screen with one can show the live score. It follows the match console and celebrates every goal.
- Can teams pay an entry fee through Dawrify?
- You record each payment and Dawrify prints a PDF receipt. The money is paid to you directly; Dawrify does not take payments online.
- Is it free?
- Your first tournament is free, up to 8 teams of 7 players. Bigger tournaments use paid plans priced by teams and players.
- Does it work in Arabic?
- Yes. The dashboard and the app run in English and Arabic with a full right-to-left layout, and the public pages are also published in French.
